hey guys! i know i haven't updated in a longgg time and i am very sorry! here's a little list of things that have been going on!!!

1. VBS 2010!!!
2. Church
3. SILLY BANDS
4. Helping little five yr olds in VBS!
5. Zaxbys
6. RIDING A GORGEOUS HORSE!
7. spending the night at s, b, and oyos!
8. waking up at 5;30 from a cute voice saying "beikah, babi, nanna!" :D

well, as you can see, nothing spectacular has happened recently, but, hey, i updated! I will have more things of interest soon!

pens and....

NEEDLES!

 This Post, my friends, is where the "needles" in pens + needles makes its debut! SOOO....the other week, me and my fabulous sister, emily, went to "Haven of Rest" thrift store, and I made a 5ish dollar purchase of this:

mmhmmm...as seen in the picture above, it is gorg, but a little to big...so some major taking in was needed...

                                              

but (this picture is upsidedown) there were these pretty things on either side of the skirt, and I REALLY didn't want to get rid of them. So I had to take it in from the back!

I started stitching by hand, but I figured that would be ridiculous in sooo many ways. so i paid the sewing machine a little visit!

But after sewing up, i found in the back that there were a few holes!! o gasp! this was not happening!

(Holes, Holes, Whole Holes)

And this was not cooL! so I took a little drive down cheat road and used some glue/tape stuff made for fabric! and the result was very satisfying!
